February 20, 2021 | Kanc 8 Update
The excitement is tangible as we get ready to embark on the journey of constructing North Americas's fastest 8-place chairlift. Since the annoucment of the Kanc 8 project it might look like nothing much has changed but behind the scenes our operations team have been working harder than ever to propel this project forward.
Ergonomically heated seats, whisper-quiet operation and raisable loading carpet are some of the features you can expect from the Kanc 8.

Summer, 2020 | Downhill Mountain Biking Phase 2
Construction on 21,00 feet of trail is well under way with 7,538 feet of trail completed in 2020 adding an additional 6 trails to the exsiting terrain.

April 3, 2020 | Installation Postponed
Today, we announce the decision to postpone installation of Kancamagus 8 until spring of 2021. Although significant investment has already been made, we cannot proceed with a project of this scale knowing the COVID-19 situation could further complicate its installation – potentially cutting off the Governor Adams Lodge and base area from the rest of the resort next winter. Permitting and planning related to the lift will continue as we prepare for the 2021 installation. The current global pandemic, however, continues to produce many unknowns. This postponement allows us to better support our team, our guests, and the greater Loon community at a time when it is needed most.
